Sandra L. Duhamel

ALBURGH - Sandra L. Duhamel, age 76, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 7, 2020 at Burlington Health and Rehab.
She was born on June 13, 1943 in Milford, CT to the late Charles & Mildred (Soule) Pearo.
For 50 years, Sandra and her late husband, Donald operated a dairy farm on the Middle Road in Alburgh, where she milked cows every day. They also ran Duhamels Country Store located on the Truck Route, also in Alburgh. She was a dedicated and hardworking farm wife and mother. Sandra looked forward to bingo on Sundays at the Alburgh Fire Station. She also loved to gamble at the Casino. Sandra was very much a people person and loved to surround herself with good friends and laughter. She had a soft spot for animals as well.
She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Duhamel of Alburgh; two sons, Donald Duhamel, Jr., of Altona and Randy Duhamel of Alburgh; two grandchildren, Devin and Monica Duhamel; and several cousins and special friends. Besides her parents, Sandra was predeceased by her husband, Donald in 2015; sister, Shirley Thompson and her husband Lloyd.
A graveside service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family in the St. Amadeus Catholic Cemetery, Truck Route, Alburgh, VT 05450.
