Sandra M. Renaudette

SWANTON – Sandra Marie Renaudette, age 85 passed away peacefully on July 6, 2021 at her home, with her loving family by her side.

 

Sandra was born September 20, 1935 in Swanton, Vermont.  She was the daughter of the late Romeo and Winifred (Babbie) Favero. She graduated from St. Anne’s Academy. She married, the love of her life, Robert Alfred Renaudette on July 21, 1956, who predeceased her on September 30, 2015. 

 

Sandra was the consummate wife, mother, grandmother (Gaga) and great-grandmother.

 

Her greatest joy was her large extended family and especially her grand-children and great grand-children. She was a loving mother to all; her home was always open to everyone, where you could enjoy a special treat and lively conversation. She was also an extraordinary, animated, story teller with a gifted talent for creating a memory into the most wonderful story. She was a devoted member of the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary-St. Louis Parish. She took great pride in working with her family as they came together to decorate the church for Christmas and Easter Holidays. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne and Bereavement Group. In addition, Sandra spent many enjoyable years, teaching CCD to numerous children.

 

She is survived by her children, Tina and Jerry Iervolino of Leland, NC, Tracy and Don Bruyette of Leland, NC, and Linda and Craig Vandevord of St. Albans, VT; grandchildren, Tony Iervolino, Sara Fournier, Hilary and Cody Meunier, Lauren and Tommy Dooley, Jessica and Shelby Vandevord; and by 3 great-grandchildren, Gabriella and Carson Meunier, and Brynn Dooley; special godchildren, Lisa Quimette, Jeff Medor, and Ursula D’Angelo; one brother and four sisters, Lanny and Estelle Favero, Elizabeth Jean, Julie and Dick Brier, Trudie Yandow, and Gail and Doug Medor; sister-in-law, Betty Renaudette; and brother and sister-in-law, Leo and Nancy Renaudette of Canaan, VT; aunts, Beverly Connors and Eileen Bisceglia; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Sandra was predeceased by her husband, Robert Renaudette; and her brother-in-laws, John Jean, Donald Renaudette, and Cleo Yandow.

 

Friends and family are invited to Sandra’s Life Celebration to include the following. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 8, 2021 from 4-7:00 PM at the Goss Life Celebration Home, 89 Grand Ave., Swanton. The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 9, 2021 at 10:00 AM from The Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 65 Canada St., Swanton. The Rite of Committal will follow at the Renaudette family lot in St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Cemetery in Swanton.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary-St. Louis Parish Building and Repair Fund, 65 Canada Street, Swanton, VT 05488.
