Spencer Cline

April 28, 1936 — May 29, 2024

HIGHGATE - Spencer Bradford Cline Sr., age 88, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at home with his loving family present.

He was born April 28, 1936 in Swanton to the late Winfield & Orilla (Bradford) Cline.

Spencer was proud to serve his country as a Private in the United States Marine Corps, active duty from 1954 to 1958, and reserve from 1958 to 1962.

Spencer was a member of the American Legion Post #1 and the Swanton VFW Post #778, and a volunteer fire fighter for the Swanton Fire Department.

He leaves behind his wife, Ramona Cline; his children, Ronald Durenleau, Mary Beaulieu and her husband Mark, Brian Durenleau and his fiancé Lorie Bullard, and Jewels Berry and her husband Rocky; son-in-law, Alan Pelkey; grandchildren, Jessica Pelkey and her fiancé Justin Fisher, Kyle Beaulieu and his wife Becca, Kory Beaulieu and his wife Lauren, Shaylyn Durenleau, and Samantha Berry; great grandchildren, Liam Beaulieu, Zoey Beaulieu, and Linkin Fisher. In addition to his parents, Spencer was predeceased by his son, Spencer Cline Jr.; daughter, Linda Pelkey; daughter-in-law, Judy Durenleau; brother, Charles Cline and his wife Betty; and his sister, Constance Prouty and her husband Sanford.

In keeping with Spencer's wishes there will be no services. Interment with military honors will be held at a later date.
