Susan Garrow

RICHFORD – Susan L. Garrow, age 77, passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2023 at the Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans.

Susan was born in Georgia on October 5, 1946 to Edmund and Roseanna (Morin) Brier.

Susan attended the Georgia One Room School, Holy Angels, Commercial Catholic School, and graduated from Franklin High School in 1964. Susan and Robert married on October 23, 1965, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

Susan dedicated her life to serving her community as the Town Clerk for the Town of Berkshire for an impressive 26 years. Her unwavering commitment and professionalism endeared her to the residents, who enjoyed her warm smile and kind heart.

Outside of her work, Susan had a passion for sewing, crocheting, and gardening. When she wasn't tending to her flourishing garden or crafting vibrant creations, Susan cherished spending quality time with her beloved husband, Robert Garrow Sr. Their unwavering love served as an inspiration to all who knew them, as they showed the true essence of a soulmate.

Susan is survived by her husband of 57 years, Robert Garrow Sr.; children, Robert Garrow Jr. and his wife Jacqueline, Edmund Garrow and his wife Joanne, Leslie Garvey and her husband Gerald; son-in-law, Peter Sylvester; 14 grandchildren; 17 great- grandchildren; siblings, Steven Brier and his wife Penny, Robert Brier and his wife Denise, John Brier and his wife Linda.

Susan was predeceased by her parents, Edmund and Roseanna Brier; daughter, Anne Sylvester; grand-daughter, Amy Kane; siblings, Theresa, Betty, Jeanette, Joe, and Ken.

Friends and family are invited to Susan’s Life celebration events to include a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, October 26^th, 2023 at 1:00PM at St. John the Baptist St. John the Baptist Church, Missisquoi St., Enosburg Falls.
