Teri L. Cummings

RICHFORD – Teri Lynn Cummings, age 20, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington.

She was born on June 18, 2001 to Tonya Cummings and Arthur Wetherby.

Teri was raised in Richford and graduated from Richford High School. When she was 10 her health began to fail her, but her spunk never did! She was the type of kid that could brighten any dark day. She always found a way to cheer you up if you were down. She loved to have fun, and was never lacking for words, or sass. If she talked back to you, she loved you. And if she ran over your foot with her wheelchair, she really loved you! Teri will be remembered for her beautiful blue eyes and her unwavering charm. She also loved spending time with kids, especially her little cousins, and her dogs.

She is survived by her mother, Tonya Cummings of Richford; father, Arthur Wetherby of Richford; her sister and best friend, Tori Cummings of Richford; maternal grandparents, Randy & Rhonda Cummings; paternal grandmother, Sandra Wetherby; special aunts & uncles, Rebecca “Bugabu” & DJ Stanhope, Randy & Melinda Cummings, and Trevor Cummings; and several other aunts, uncles, and cousins. Teri was predeceased by her paternal grandfather, Gardner Wetherby.

Teri’s family, who affectionately called her “Bee” will be holding a private memorial for her.
