Therese Chauvin

July 29, 1915 — February 4, 2008

MONTGOMERY CENTER - Therese M. Meme Chauvin, 92, passed away peacefully Monday afternoon February 4, 2008 at her home surrounded by her children and many other family members.

She was born June 29, 1915 in Chambly, Quebec Canada the daughter of the late Arsene & Corinne (Leboux) Bonneau.

Therese was a resident of Montgomery most of her life. She was a member of St. Annes Society and St. Isidores Laborers of St. Isidores Catholic Church in Montgomery Center. She was also a member of Saint Anne de Beaupre, and the Society for the Propagation of the Faithful.

Therese enjoyed many things in life including her family, numerous family gatherings throughout the year, making quilts, word search puzzles, scratch tickets, frequent trips to McDonalds, baking deserts, and watching favorite TV shows which included Monday Night Wrestling.

Therese will always be remembered for her overwhelming compassion and love for her family.

She is survived by 2 sons and their wives, Roger & Lois Chauvin, and Paul & Deborah Chauvin all of Montgomery Center; 6 daughters and their husbands, Denise & William Baker Sr. of Montgomery Center, Laurette Chauvin of Montgomery Center, Doris & Jamie Buttendorf of Montgomery, Jeanne & Raymond Hakey of Tucson, AZ, Jeannine & David Talcott of Fairfield, and Louise & Dwight Callan of Fairfield; 21 Grandchildren, 25 Great Grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Armand Chauvin on September 9, 2000; a granddaughter-in-law, Kathy Baker on August 20, 2003; 4 brothers, Roger, Norbert, Laurent, and Gilles Bonneau.

Funeral services will be held Saturday February 9, 2008 at 11:00 AM at St. Isidores Catholic Church in Montgomery Center with Rev. Karl Hahr celebrating the Mass of Christian burial. Interment will be held this spring in St. Isidores Cemetery.

Visiting hours will be held Friday from 12- 2 PM and 7-9 PM at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls
