Vincent "Vinny" A. Letkowski

September 29, 1948 — November 26, 2021

ALBURGH – Vincent “Vinny” A. Letkowski, age 73, passed away suddenly on November 26, 2021 at Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans.

He was born in New Haven, CT on September 29, 1948 to the late Adolph & Stella (Szezesnowiez) Letkowski.

Vinny graduated from Hill House High in New Haven, CT the Class of 1964. Vinny married the love of his life, Brenda Forant on February 1, 1969 and with that same luck his favorite baseball team, the Mets, won the World Series that same year. They made their family of two into a family of five with the birth of their three sons, Vincent Jr., Michael (Mike), and William Letkowski. Vinny started as a Press Operator for Yale University fresh out of high school for a few years, and then he spent the next 25 years working at Kurt H. Volk Printing in Milford, CT. Vinny and Brenda moved to Vermont with their three sons in 1995. He was an avid New York Mets fan and a diehard New York Giants fan, even when his team was on a losing streak. He had no problem telling the TV off, or the referee’s if they made a bad call!

Vinny leaves behind his wife, Brenda of Alburgh; his three sons, Vincent Letkowski Jr. and his wife Margarita of Saratoga, NY, Mike Letkowski and his partner Sharri of Alburgh, and William Letkowski of Alburgh; three grandchildren, Jonathan, William Jr., and Alexis.

Vinny’s family will be holding a private Life Celebration in the Spring.

“If tears could build a stairway,

And our memories a lane,

We’d walk right up to Heaven,

And bring you home again.”
