William Leclair

March 15, 1963 — December 1, 2025

ST.ALBANS - William LeClair S.R, also known as Big Bill, age 62, passed away after a long battle with chronic illnesses on Monday, December 1st, 2025.

Born in St. Albans, Vermont on March 15th, 1963, Bill dedicated most of his life to dairy farming, he had a steadfast work ethic that defined his career. He embodied a true love of the rural life and passed that on to his family.

A man of great warmth and a famously selfless nature who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it, Bill was known throughout his life for his generous spirit and his unwavering desire to help others. Beneath a tough, no-nonsense exterior, Bill carried a soul of remarkable kindness. He expressed his immense love through unwavering support, honest guidance, and the warmth of his signature bear hugs for those he held dear.

Bill was happiest when spending time with his large, cherished family. He was the loving and devoted patriarch to his six children and the proud grandfather to sixteen grandchildren who he adored immensely. Though he enjoyed watching football, playing poker, fishing, and snowmobiling, his greatest joy came from the lively, bustling gatherings of his family. He also shared a special bond with his wife, Celine, and their endearing love was often expressed through his playful teasing and giving her a hard time-a tradition that brought smiles to all who witnessed it.

Bill is survived by his wife of 41 years, Celine Marie Snider, Mother Arlene. Brothers; Steven and Jeff. Sisters; Vanka, Mary, Peggy and Hope. Children and grandchildren, William J.R, and his spouse Emily (Laroche) their children Nataleigh, Jackson, Karson, Kaylen, Leighla and Rayleigh. Charles and his spouse Kati-Lyn (Paradis) their children Maddie, Ella and Charlie Rose. Leanne LeClair and her significant other Michael Stevens his children; Dawson, DeeliahElliauhna and Tyler. John LeClair. Olivia LeClair and her spouse Jaden Sanborn their children; Wesley, Everett and Lukas. Desiree LeClair and her significant other Alex Carner. William was predeceased by his father George J.R, and his two brothers George III and Richard LeClair.

In keeping with Bills wishes there will be no calling hours, he requested to have a Celebration of Life which will be held at the American Legion (108 Depot Street Enosburg Falls, Vermont 05450) on Saturday December 13th at 2pm.
